This year’s CALL conference will be held from July 2 to July 5, 2026 in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.

The conference will continue to feature the popular Supreme Court and Appellate Courts Updates Sunday panel, the 10-Minute Labour Lawyer, the International Labour Rights Committee panel as well as the following topics:

•  Use of medical and psychological evidence in arbitration and the duty of fair representation

•  Updates in the battle to organize Amazon and gig workers

•  Representing Indigenous employees

•  Government attacks on unions in Alberta and Québec

•  The always popular 10-minute lawyer and SCC/appellate case law update

While we have planned for and encourage in-person attendance, you can also register to participate online. Please note that all sessions will be streamed between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time.

Due to the conference size relative to the available space, the conference will take place at two hotels, located next to each other, in walking distance. The sessions will be divided between the two. Since hotel registration links were sent to members a few months ago, the Explorer Hotel has now sold out. However there continue to be rooms available at the Chateau Nova Hotel. Please use the following link to book within the room block: Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers Annual Conference - Chateau Nova Yellowknife

Room rates start at $219. If you need nights before or after the room block indicated at this link, please call 1-867-766-6682 and mention that you are with the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers. The Guaranteed Room Rate ends June 6, 2026, although there is no guarantee there will be rooms left at that late date.
