This year’s CALL conference will be held from June 6 to June 9, 2024, at the iconic Château Frontenac Hotel in Québec City. 

The conference will continue to feature the popular Supreme Court and Appellate Courts Updates Sunday panel, the 10-Minute Labour Lawyer, the International Labour Rights Committee panel, as well as panels discussing, AI, Family Status Discrimination, Free Expression, Re-Imagining Workplaces for Workers with Disabilities, Better Writing, Communicating Effectively with Members, Labour Arbitration and ADR, Interest Arbitration, Strategies for Organizing.

Of course the conference will continue with the many much-loved social functions, beginning on Thursday afternoon, with an optional tour of the Huron-Wendat Museum https://museehuronwendat.ca/en/ and lunch at First Nations LaTrait Restaurant next door https://restaurantlatraite.ca/, followed in the evening by a cocktail reception at the hotel. Friday evening will feature the run for fun followed by food, drinks and music at the Musée National des beaux-arts du Quebec. Be sure not to miss out on the always popular Saturday night dinner and dance, this year with the Armoury a short walk from the Château Frontenac.

Record numbers of CALL members have signed up for this year’s Conference in Québec City. Unfortunately, we are now at capacity for the conference meeting rooms and cannot accept anymore registrations for in-person attendance. If you have a reservation at the Fairmont but no conference registration, please DO NOT CANCEL the hotel booking - we have a waitlist for rooms. Please let Paul Wollaston know and he will have it transferred to another attendee.  Also, if you would like to be placed on a waitlist for in-person attendance, please let Paul know at wollaston99@hotmail.com.

Registrations for attendance online will remain open. Please note that all sessions will be streamed between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm Eastern Daylight Time.
