Yessy E. Byl

Yessy practiced labour law in Edmonton, Alberta from 1980 to 1990, both in private practice and as in-house Legal Representative for the Canadian Union of Public Employees. She subsequently served as a Labour Relations Officer for the United Nurses of Alberta and, most recently, the Non-Academic Staff Association at the University of Alberta. Her extensive experience in labour relations has included appearing routinely before Boards of Arbitration and the Labour Relations Board. She has also sat as nominee on Boards of Arbitration. Yessy has authored many articles, presented numerous seminars and is an active volunteer in the community.
